Job Summary

We have a position available for an Interior Recruitment Consultant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in yachting or a related corporate field (recruitment, yacht management company, etc), and specialist
knowledge in the Interior departments on yachts.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent in the Interior department, facilitating their placement with our prestigious clients in the yachting industry.

The ideal candidate for this full-time remote position will possess extensive knowledge of the industry’s Interior crew and have a strong network within the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and market analysis to identify trends and top talent in Interior roles within the yachting industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, providing excellent customer service throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific hiring needs, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique requirements for Interior staff.
  • Source, interview, and evaluate potential candidates to assess their suitability for open positions.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and placement for Interior positions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in our applicant tracking system.
  • Expand the desk strategically by consistently engaging in business development initiatives that attract and secure new clients.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network.
  • Provide guidance to candidates on career development and opportunities in the Interior department of the yachting industry.
  • Stay current with industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging technologies within the yachting sector, with a focus on Interior positions.
  • In time, dependent on the interior desk’s workload and activity level, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee and mentor a resourcer working under your guidance.

Qualifications/Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in recruitment with a specialisation in the yachting industry, particularly in Interior. This could be within an agency or within a senior role onboard where you had responsibility for managing teams and hiring crew.
  • Specialist knowledge of the yachting industry, its key players and industry-specific recruitment practices, particularly with regards to Interior positions.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, attracting, and placing high-calibre talent in Interior roles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other relevant software tools.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to our offices in Palma, Mallorca, or Sussex, UK, as needed.
  • A passion for the yachting industry and a desire to contribute to the success of our clients and candidates.
