  • Contract: Permanent Full Time
  • Full Time Salary: Circa £30k with an OTE of £60k after commissions

Job Summary

We have two positions available for Recruitment Consultants with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in yachting or a related corporate field (recruitment, yacht management company, etc), and specialist knowledge in the Interior and Galley departments on yachts.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent in the Interior and Galley departments, facilitating their placement with our prestigious clients in the yachting industry.

The ideal candidate for this full-time remote position will possess extensive knowledge of the industry’s Interior and Galley crew and have a strong network within the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and market analysis to identify trends and top talent in Interior and Galley roles within the yachting industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, providing excellent customer service throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific hiring needs, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique requirements for Interior and Galley staff.
  • Source, interview, and evaluate potential candidates to assess their suitability for open positions.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and placement for Interior and Galley positions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in our applicant tracking system.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network.
  • Provide guidance to candidates on career development and opportunities in the Interior and Galley department of the yachting industry.
  • Stay current with industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging technologies within the yachting sector, with a focus on Interior and Galley positions.

Qualifications/Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in recruitment with a specialisation in the yachting industry, particularly in Inteior & Galley roles. This could be within an agency or within a senior role onboard where you had responsibility for managing teams and hiring crew.
  • Specialist knowledge of the yachting industry, its key players and industry-specific recruitment practices, particularly with regards to Interior and Galley positions.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, attracting, and placing high-calibre talent in Interior and Galley roles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other relevant software tools.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to our offices in Palma, Mallorca, or Sussex, UK, as needed.
  • A passion for the yachting industry and a desire to contribute to the success of our clients and candidates.
