Job Summary
YCRT is dedicated to excellence in yachting and is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a specialisation in the Galley department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and
attracting top talent in these key areas of the yachting industry, facilitating their placement with our prestigious clients.
You will be working in a team alongside our existing Galley recruiter who is a Michelin trained chef with over 15 years yachting head chef experience, as well as a wider team of experienced yacht crew recruiters. The ideal
candidate for this full-time remote position will possess extensive knowledge of the yachting industry, particularly in the Galley department, and have a strong network within the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and market analysis to identify trends and top talent in the Galley department.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing excellent customer service throughout the recruitment process.
- Source, interview, and evaluate potential candidates to assess their suitability for open positions in the Galley department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in our applicant tracking system.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network.
- Provide guidance to candidates on career development and opportunities in the yachting industry, focusing on Galley roles.
- Stay current with industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging technologies within the yachting sector.
Qualifications/Experience
- A minimum of 4 years experience in the yachting industry, particularly in Galley roles. Ideally you will have recruitment experience also but this is not necessarily a deal breaker. We are more concerned about finding someone with the right attitude.
- Strong knowledge of the yachting industry, its key players, and industry-specific recruitment practices.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, attracting, and placing high-calibre talent in these roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships.
