The Crew Academy’s IAMI GUEST-accredited Yacht Spa Management program is designed for spa professionals looking to bring their specialised skills to the maritime environment, focusing on the elite standards required for luxury yacht operations.

While many spa therapists are experts in their treatments, transitioning to a yacht requires a unique understanding of maritime safety, high-end etiquette, and the complexities of managing a spa at sea. Without specific training, crew may struggle to adapt their skills to the rigorous demands and administrative standards of a superyacht.

In this program, we bridge the gap between land-based expertise and world-class maritime service. You will develop the leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills necessary to deliver a safe, professional, and high-quality spa experience for the world’s most discerning guests.

This program is intended for Spa crew looking to professionalise their skills and transition into a management mindset within the yachting industry.

• Spa Manager roles, duties & responsibilities

• Standards of personal presentation, conduct, etiquette and personal health & wellbeing relevant to the Spa Department

• Duties & responsibilities of the onboard Yacht Spa Administration & Safety Management systems

• Duties & responsibilities of the onboard Spa Operations & meeting the guest’s needs

• Communication & dealing with the Challenges of difficult guests

Accreditation

Upon completion of the program, learners will be awarded the following certificate:
