Job Description

50m Private M/Y looking for a bosun to join the team in the Caribbean.

We are currently seeking a Bosun to join a well-maintained classic yacht.

The vessel typically operates a single Mediterranean season and spends the winter period based in Mallorca.

We are ideally looking for a candidate with strong maintenance skills, particularly with varnishing, and any carpentry experience would be a valuable advantage given the nature of the yacht.

The ideal candidate will have good proven longevity and ideally be working towards their OOW certification. They must hold a Yachtmaster Offshore as a minimum requirement and they will be expected to stand navigational watches when required.

You will be responsible for leading a team of two deckhands, assisting with the organisation of deck operations, and, once settled into the role, managing deck inventory, ordering supplies, and overseeing deck maintenance schedules and work lists.
