TCA – New Build Project Management

The Crew Academy’s New Build Project Management program focuses on the leadership, departmental, and operational responsibilities within the new build process. With a strong emphasis on how HODs contribute to a successful project, not on representing owners in the shipyard.

Participants will be provided with the necessary knowledge and the tools to contribute effectively in any new build projects, ensuring the vessel is delivered operationally functional, safe, efficient, and crew-ready.

The course is delivered 100% online via kelp. in collaboration with a mix of interactive masterclasses and self study.

It is directed at those who want to become or act as an Owner’s Representative, including:

• Captains and Chief Officers

•  Chief Engineers and Senior ETOs / AVITs

•  Pursers and Interior Managers

•  Deck Leads / Bosuns

•  Galley Leads / Chefs

•  Aspiring HODs preparing for promotion

•  Senior crew transitioning into leadership

Course Format

• Held over 8 weeks online via Zoom

• Delivered online via kelp. 

• Weekly live interactive sessions, held on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5 to 7pm UK.

• 32 hours of live teaching plus guided self-study through kelp.

• Written assessments to consolidate and demonstrate learning.

Accreditation

Upon completion of the program, learners will be awarded the following certificate:

• The Crew Academy certificate - New Build Project Management program

Platform Access

Students booking onto the New Build Project Management program with The Crew Academy will gain immediate access to the full course content and library of resources. Students must complete all self-study and live training within the 12 month period of booking.
