Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, polished and highly discreet Travelling Chief Stewardess to support UHNW Principals across multiple private residences and international locations.

This is a unique land-based opportunity suited to a candidate from a luxury yachting background who understands true five-star standards and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. The role mirrors the structure and expectations of a Chief Stewardess position onboard, bringing superyacht-level service and organisation into a private household setting.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of interior operations, including formal and informal service, housekeeping, wardrobe management, guest hospitality, residence preparation and travel support. You will be expected to maintain immaculate standards at all times while anticipating the Principals’ needs with professionalism and discretion.

The role involves frequent international travel alongside the Principals, including time spent in Egypt, Dubai, Europe, and the US. Flexibility is essential, as schedules may change depending on the Principals’ movements and lifestyle requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional five-star formal and informal service across all residences
  • Managing all aspects of housekeeping, including daily upkeep, deep cleaning oversight, room turnovers and evening turndowns
  • Ensuring all interiors are maintained to immaculate standards with close attention to detail
  • Managing laundry, wardrobe organisation, garment care, packing/unpacking and seasonal wardrobe transitions
  • Preparing residences ahead of Principal and guest arrivals, ensuring every detail is perfectly presented
  • Coordinating private dining, table settings, guest hospitality and events within the residences
  • Assisting with light meal preparation, breakfasts and service support where required
  • Managing household inventories, including linens, tableware, amenities, and household supplies
  • Overseeing floral arrangements, presentation, and overall ambiance throughout the residences
  • Liaising closely with chefs, PAs, drivers and wider household staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Supervising, training and supporting junior interior staff where required
  • Accompanying the Principals during international travel and ensuring continuity of service across all locations
  • Handling errands, sourcing personal items, and supporting the Principals’ day-to-day lifestyle needs
  • Maintaining complete discretion and professionalism at all times

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chief Stewardess on a superyacht is essential
  • Strong hands-on housekeeping and service experience
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Calm under pressure with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
  • Comfortable working independently and within a wider household team
  • Flexible with travel, varied schedules, and changing priorities
  • Confident managing high standards in both formal and relaxed environments
