Second Officer

Job Description

We’re seeking a confident and well-rounded 2nd Officer to join a busy 70m private M/Y in the Med. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has progressed through the ranks on deck and is ready to step into a balanced bridge/deck role within a strong, established team.

⁠A true 50/50 split between bridge and deck, with key responsibilities including passage planning, bridge resource management, ECDIS operations, and acting as Safety Delegate (Fully ISM-compliant vessel).

⁠Deck team of 8 on board. You’ll be working alongside an experienced and hands on Bosun and will have 4 deck crew team of 4 underneath that.

⁠Dynamic program with a mix of guest trips, some high-tempo, other more relaxed, offering plenty of sea time.

⁠You will be joining a sociable, close-knit crew so they are looking for someone to fit in well with this culture on board.

⁠OOW 3000GT license required as a minimum.

⁠Valid Schengen visa if required.

⁠$6,000/month& 60 days leave.

⁠Excellent onboard training & bonus scheme to be discussed at interview stage.

⁠⁠Well-equipped crew gym.

⁠They need someone to start ideally no later than the 6th of May.
